Projekt Makan is a seafood eatery in Kuatan, Pahang, which brings a novel and communal experience when it comes to enjoying seafood! The name – Projekt Makan, comes from a play of words in the local Malay language which directly translates to “Project Eat”. Here at Projekt Makan, the menu features seafood as the main attraction which is cooked together to create a carnival of intermingling flavours brought together from the different seafoods. These epic seafood feasts can be prepared in various styles such as the Louisiana style, Butter Milk style and Kam Heong style. The menu also includes Western cuisine such as pastas and mains featuring lamb, beef and chicken. Hot and cold beverages can, of course, be found on the menu as well.

Event Space

Projekt Makan has a comfortable and brightly lit interior, with a chic design and a touch of hipster style. Numerous ceiling fans as well as central air-conditioning units keep the ambient temperature at a comfortable level while customers enjoy their meals in simple yet snug furniture. Most of the white walls here are plain, albeit one which has a large mural of the Spanish word “PANADERIA”, which translates to “bakery” in English, artfully painted across. The event space which is a non-smoking establishment, has both an indoor dining area as well as an alfresco dining area.

Events

Projekt Makan is a fine choice for hosting private events such as birthday party, company dinner, anniversary dinner, cocktail party and more! The cozy atmosphere here would be conducive to any event. Up to 100 pax can be accommodated here for private events.

Projekt Makan is located in Kuantan, Pahang, on Jalan Tun Ismail 2. Street parking is readily available close to the restaurant for use.
