The Hare by Sugar On Top (SOT) at Austin Heights is the expansion from its flagship cafe Sugar On Top at Taman Pelangi. The Hare by SOT offers innovative Asian Fusion cuisine which the young owner Derek Tan observed while studying and working in the UK. Sugar On Top (SOT) has got a cute and catchy tagline – We Are Not Crazy, just SOT. And they have indeed successfully created a very unique menu that comes with the element of SOT SOT (with “crazy” twists). Famous items from the menu are food that is familiar like pastas and burgers but with a very special SOT touch. The Hare by SOT also offers some must try desserts like Hokkaido Matcha Hotcake, Signature Charcoal Waffle and Mini Churros that are sure to impress you and your guests.

Event Venue

From the exterior, one can easily identified The Hare by SOT with the beautiful graffiti at the side of this event space as well as the very refreshing and bright artificial sunflowers surrounding the garden seating outside. The interior is white, clean and relaxing with high ceiling, plenty of natural sunlight shinning in and some cool paintings on the walls. As you push through the glass door of The Hare by SOT, you will see the counter on the left and seating area with wooden tables and chairs on the right. This event space comes with a bar area with white bricks backdrop and a lovely stainless steel coffee machine. The Hare by SOT emphasizes on a range of soft touches in the decoration for instance the use of lovely sunflowers as well as Hare figurines at the counter area giving it a homely and relaxing touch. The outdoor seating area has great garden feel and is a great place to hang out when it is not too hot and sunny.

Events

The Hare by SOT is a lovely event space with stunning indoor and outdoor seating. This event space is suitable for hosting a birthday party, anniversary, engagement party, ROM, proposal, bridal shower, baby shower, family gathering, small scale corporate event and product launch. It can accommodate up to 60 pax.

Location

The Hare by SOT is tugged in middle of Austin Heights, the cafe paradise in JB where it is a stone throw away from family fun activities like Austin Heights Water and Adventure Park. It is accessible through Lebuhraya Tebrau and JB EDL. Parking is available along the streets.
