La Risata, which means “the laughter” in Spanish, are two lively restaurants in the suburbs of Ampang Hilir and Damansara Heights that have been serving some of Kuala Lumpur’s best Italian food since 1996. And as testament of their pedigree, La Risata Ampang has been constant TimeOut KL award winners.

Event Space

La Risata Ampang has an event space that occupies two floors with a contemporary setting that befits the upper class Ampang Hilir neighbourhood. The double storey skylight courtyard of La Risata Ampang streams light into the event space. The brick walls and unfinished cement decor creates a modern yet rustic look and feel that’s so in vogue. Warm, earth-hued furnishings and subdued lighting also works to create a cosy ambience for a relaxed dining for you and your guests at La Risata Ampang. The dining area downstairs can accommodate up to 80 pax. La Risata Ampang also has a more private dining and drinking area upstairs that’s suitable for intimate parties for groups of up to 30 pax.

Location

La Risata Ampang is located at not so quiet row of shops at the Ampang Hilir area just off Jalan Ampang. Getting here is easy enough as it’s just straight down Jalan Ampang or it can also be accessed off the Ampang MRR. Parking is available on the street.
