If you are getting tired of coffee, how about giving tea a chance. Tea Press Damansara is here to give you a variety of tea from Shizuoka, to get over your coffee boredom. Tea Press Damansara was started by Ami Sugiyama and she has assembled a team of “tea sommeliers” who will introduce you to the fine art of Japanese tea drinking. Yes, this is more refined than just pouring hot water over tea. Don’t worry if you are uninitiated to the nuances and the rituals of drinking Japanese tea, the tea sommeliers are there to help take you through the process.

Event Space

The art of drinking Japanese tea is an act that promotes calmness and is a very soothing experience. Therefore, Tea Press Damansara would be more suited for a more quiet type of event, like a tea party or a more contemplative gathering with close friends. The event space here can take up to 40 pax.

Location

Tea Press Damansara is located at Damansara Uptown. Getting here is easy as it is just one road away from the LDP, making it quite an ideal meeting spot for guests coming from other parts of PJ, Bandar Utama, TTDI or Kepong. Parking, however, is not as easy. While there is the underground car park, it hasn’t proven to be a popular option. Or plan your events during the evening when the parking situation improves.
