Paper Lobster is a seafood restaurant event space in Penang with fresh shellfish served in Lousiana Seafood Boil style as its main delicacy. The restaurant takes on the communal dining concept of serving seafood on tables covered in large sheets of parchment paper, whereby seafood is meant to be enjoyed without the use of cutlery. Paper Lobster’s menu has a good variety of seafood including lobsters, crabs, yabbies (crayfish), scallops, mussels, and clams served in a few choices of in-house specialty sauce.

Event Space

Paper Lobster offers a comfortable and spacious environment with industrial metal chairs and banquette seating for customers to dine in. Apart from a small brick wall adorned with nautical decor like lifebuoys and ship wheels, the main interior walls of the restaurant feature fun instructions on how to savour the different types of shellfish dishes.

Events

Paper Lobster is a suitable venue for a casual meetup or gathering among family and friends, as well as for celebrating special occasions such as a birthday party or a reunion dinner. The restaurant can also host company events up to a maximum of 70 pax.

Location

Paper Lobster is located on the ground floor of Olive Tree Commercial Lots, which is right beside Olive Tree Hotel in Bayan Lepas. The event space is easily accessible by car, and public parking is available around the area.
