Siar Tranquil is a hidden gateway spot in Lundu, Sarawak which is serenely located on a stretch of soft sand beach facing the wide expanses of the South China Sea. The private beach home has a modern interpretation of vernacular design which allow for uninterrupted views of the natural environment without sacrificing comfort or privacy of guests. Siar Tranquil is 2 hours drive from Kuching and strategically located a short drive away from other popular beaches including Pandan Beach and Siar Beach.

Event Space

Originally built in 1985, the highlight of Siar Tranquil would be the the breathtaking ocean view from the beach home. Siar Tranquil is a one-storey bungalow and comes with a large and spacious compound area.The home original consists of three separated wings: “Living Dining, Kitchen Utility, and Bed & Bath” which comfortably houses the family and guests. It was later in 2006, an extended wing was built to accommodate the growing needs to the family and the extension was called “The Breathing House” by the architect. The entire home relies exclusively on natural ventilation to cool the interior spaces. The space can comfortably sleep 8 pax and there are hotels and accommodations available nearby.

Events

Siar Tranquil is a great venue for relaxing retreats among friends and family and ideal for production shoots. The venue is equipped with projector & screen, PA system, flipchart and minimalist decoration and furniture. Currently there are no catering provided on site, however there are F&B venues within a 5 minutes drive.

Location

Siar Tranquil is just a few minutes drive from Lundu, Sarawak and 2 hours drive from Kuching. If you are up for a hike, Gunung Gading National Park is just minutes away where the worlds biggest flower, Rafflesia can be found and dip into the many refreshing waterfalls on a hot sunny day.
