The IDCC Convention Centre Shah Alam is a purpose built convention centre on top of a shopping mall in Shah Alam that caters to a wide variety of events not only for people around Shah Alam but also beyond that. There is also a hotel, The Pegasus Hotel, that is located next to the IDCC Convention Centre Shah Alam. This makes it a suitable event space for conventions and conferences where there are guests that come from either out of town or from overseas.

Event Space

The IDCC Convention Centre Shah Alam has an elegant event space with a ceiling that is more than 20 feet high. The large pillar-less hall that is suitable for a wide variety of events. The modern elegance carries through from the building into the convention centre itself. Ambient lighting enhances the mood of the IDCC Convention Centre Shah Alam. They have 90,000 square feet of space through 11 connected halls that could be partitioned for smaller events or taken as a whole, making it the biggest space available in Shah Alam. Individual halls start from a capacity of 345 pax up to 1,000 pax. Combine them together, and you can take up to 8,000 pax.

Location

The IDCC Convention Centre Shah Alam is located just off two major access roads that lead into Shah Alam. These are the Federal Highway and the LEKAS Expressway, which brings people from Puchong and Kota Kemuning. Coupled with over 2,000 parking bays within the building, this makes it a very well planned convention centre and wedding venue.
