Open in 2015, House Restaurant is the event space of choice as it offers up to 40 different authentic Western, Italian, Asian and local delicacies. Its signature dish a Moroccan favourite known as Shakshouka which comes in spicy chilli paste mixed with Bolognese sauce, vegetables and eggs has been fine tuned to suit local palates. Other popular menu items include Soft Shell Crab, Jawa Spicy Chicken Chilli and one specially prepared for the ladies, Chicken Golden House. Besides ala-carte orders, there is also selected rice sets that come with a choice of meat or seafood. The desserts at the display counter carry an array of Western favourite treats.

Event Space

Done up in shades of refreshing blue and with white furniture, House Restaurant has a retro concept with intriguing graffiti work done by a young local artist on both floors of the event space that screams for attention. An air-conditioned event space that is minimalistic is decor and comes with a choice of outdoor seating on high bar stools and painted industrial oil drums, standard indoor table seating as well as an upstairs seating for a more private setting. The neat and family friendly event space is well lit and has a relaxed, cosy ambiance.

Events

House Restaurant is a suitable event space for walk-ins as well as to host a birthday party, engagement, anniversary, baby shower, school reunion, corporate lunch or dinner, family gathering, talk, seminar, product launch and any other private function for up to 60 pax in its private event space upstairs.

Location

House Restaurant is located at Jalan Sultan Iskandar in the older part of Ipoh and is a 4 minute drive from the Funtasy House Trick Art and the Cititel Express Hotel. Street parking is available around the event space.
