Copper KL

Copper KL is a casual dining Modern European restaurant event space that focuses first on bringing good tasting food to the forefront. Chef and owner, Chai Chun Boon, brings home to KL his considerable experience as a chef that has taken him to the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, and Singapore with the opening of Copper KL. Food items that people have raved about at Cooper KL are their baked eggs, vichyssoise with seared scallops & leek fondue, hamachi cooked a la plancha with smoky aubergine creme, and confit tomato & fish crisps among other things.

Event Space

Copper KL has a modern and roomy event space. The decor tastefully incorporates the old and the new with a fair amount of wood to give this place a modern yet cozy feel. There’s a kitchen counter top where a small group of guests can dine while watching the kitchen staff at work. There are two sections within Copper KL, so smaller groups can take just one section instead of two. There is also a garden outside the restaurant which could be used for events, as long as the planning is done at least a month ahead.

Events

Copper KL is a suitable space to host a corporate lunch or dinner, a birthday party, an office party, a product launch, a product talk, or even a ROM and, a wedding reception. The event space here can accommodate up to 80 pax.

Location

Copper KL is located on the 5th Floor of Menara Shell in Brickfields. Brickfields in the past may have conjured a more sleepy image but not anymore. With KL Sentral, Nu Sentral and the host of modern office buildings that have come up in the last few years, Brickfields is now a hot bed of activity. Getting to Copper KL is easy as you can choose from the arterial roads or the public transportation like the LRT and Monorail that intersect here. Parking can be arranged within the building at Menara Shell.

Note

Menara Shell is one of KL’s growing list of Syariah compliant buildings so Copper KL does not serve alcohol.
