Farquhar Mansion is a fine-dining restaurant serving pork-free French haute cuisine with a contemporary twist. Based on the five characteristics of Cinq philosophy – Terroir, Flavour, Texture, Pure, and Classic – each dish is meticulously crafted with premium ingredients to provide guests with a gastronomical adventure to remember. At Farquhar Mansion, guests may enjoy “The Chef Tasting Menu” which serves seasonal delicacies, or “The Bespoke Menu” which caters to individual culinary needs. Farquhar Mansion also serves afternoon high tea with an assortment of savoury and sweet bites on a fancy three-tier platter.

Event Space

Once a dilapidated structure from the 1870s, Farquhar Mansion was restored to its former glory of a colonial-style double-storey bungalow in the year 2014. With linen-covered tables, chairs with velvet upholstery, and colonial-inspired decor, the historical building boosts lavish interiors that exude a classy and elegant ambience for an exceptional dining experience. Farquhar Mansion has four open dining areas for customers on the ground floor, and in line with their vision to provide a royal privilege, the upper floor has exclusive lounges and private rooms reserved for guests with Nobleman and Royal membership only.

It is the ideal venue to celebrate special occasions with family and friends, such as a wedding dinner or bridal shower. Farquhar Mansion is also suitable for corporate events including an annual dinner or product launch. The event space can accommodate up to 100 pax, and service is customisable for various events.

Location

Farquhar Mansion is located at Mission Place, a heritage precinct on Farquhar Street in Georgetown, Penang. The event space is located right opposite Eastern & Oriental Hotel, and it is easily accessible by car, with parking bays available within the grounds of the mansion.
