Jao Tim is a heritage space located in KL’s Chinatown area with a history of over 100 years. It has been lovingly restored by its owners to a state that is perhaps even better than its former glory. Jao Tim operates as a cafe as well, so you can conduct your event here and have a fresh serving of gourmet coffee as well. The event space has a high ceiling, typical of the pre-war shophouses in Kuala Lumpur of the 1910s. This gives you an expansive feeling when you do your event here. It has two levels of space with the main floor and a mezzanine floor above. The walls are have been left exposed to give it an old industrial feel. The wooden floor is still the original timber from 1910. Talk about a heritage event space.

Events

Jao Tim is a suitable event space for holding events like a company meeting, a business presentation, or an intimate ROM wedding event. The place can hold up to 80 pax or even 100 pax if you use the mezzanine floor as well.

Location

Jao Tim is blessed with one of the better locations on Jalan Sultan. Located near the corner of Jalan Hang Jebat (formerly Davidson Road) and Jalan Sultan, there are several parking lots just about 100 metres away from the building. Jao Tim is also only a 5 minute walk from the Pasar Seni LRT & MRT Stations.
