The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur was originally built in 1932 in a hybrid of neo-classical and art deco style. During its early years, it was the place for glamorous social events, government receptions and the residence for prominent international visitors. Since reopening its doors in 2011, the Majestic Hotel has been restored to its former glory and now occupies a place among the top event venues for weddings, functions, parties or award dinners among Kuala Lumpur’s residents.

The Majestic Hotel’s 51 rooms were equipped with the top luxuries of its time. Modern sanitation was introduced in every room, with hot and cold water, showers, and long baths in the suites. The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur Ballroom is one of the largest pillarless function and event spaces in Kuala Lumpur. It seats 1,200 for a banquet or 1,500 in a theatre style setting.

Location

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur Ballroom is located on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, just opposite KL’s historic and iconic train station. Parking is available in the basement of the hotel, though it can get filled up for large 1,000 pax events.
