Miss Ellie Tea House
Miss Ellie Tea House
The owners of Miss Ellie Tea House describe it as a cozy and quaint little place and this is one of those occasions where we couldn’t agree with them more. In fact, beyond cozy and quaint, it’s a charming tea house that will immediately transport you to being in an English cottage the moment you step in. Miss Ellie Tea House was opened by a mother and son team, Nancy and Justin. This place is a labour of love and you can see it not only in the decor but also the food. Justin, who worked as a chef in Melbourne (one of the gourmet capitals of the world), seeks to use fresh local ingredients to make flavourful dishes. Apart from tea and freshly made scones that you would expect at a tea house, Miss Ellie Tea House has a menu that includes soups (the mushroom soup looks absolutely ravishing), salads, pasta & pies (we hear the lamb shank pot pie is to die for)
Event Space
The furnishing and colours of Miss Ellie Tea House will immediately remind you of a an English cottage, the kind that would just want to go into to have tea. While the event space at Miss Ellie Tea House is not big, it has enough instagram ready spots that you will want to share with your friends if you have an event here. The event space here can take up to 35 pax and is perfect for tea parties, baby showers or small birthday parties.

Location
Miss Ellie Tea House is located in the far end of Taman Melawati, almost next to the jungle. This may be a far end of Kuala Lumpur but it’s such a quaint area and the tea house is so pretty, and the drive in so peaceful, that we think this should be an event space to look out for. There is ample street parking available here, just perfect for small events.
