Opened its door in 2014, Portico Restaurant is a beautifully set up restaurant event space in Kuching serving delicious Western Cuisine, Fusion food as well as Desserts. Some of the signature dishes include Grilled Smoked Duck Breast, Grilled Lamb Shoulder, Spanish Salami Pizza, Slow Cooked Rosemary Lamb Shank, Kataifi Prawn Salad and Oreo Mousse Cake. Portico Restaurant does not serve pork and lard but alcohol and wine are available for order in the menu. Service is generally rated as professional and friendly.

Event Venue

Portico Restaurant is a spacious and beautiful looking event space from the inside out. The outdoor area is modern, wonderfully lighted, surrounded with wall mounted and standing fans, with Japanese bamboo plants and a lot of greens. Whereas the indoor area is filled with chillax vibe, using cleverly designed wooden walls and wooden elements and furniture, bricks walls, and high glass windows with wooden panels. The indoor dining area is air-conditioned with tables and chairs as well as high bar stools seating at the bar counter. PA system is available and great for live performances. The outdoor dining area is clean and nice for smokers and those who prefer the cool breeze. Limited couch seats are available outdoor. Buffet line can be set up according to customersí preferences. This event space is also versatile and the seating arrangement can be readjusted to suit customersí liking and agenda, for instance it can be transformed into a seminar or workshop setting for corporate events. Portico Restaurant is child friendly with high chairs available for use.

Events

Portico Restaurant is clean, cosy, beautiful, spacious and comfortable, making it a wonderful event space to host a small scale wedding, birthday party, anniversary, alumni party, bridal shower, bachelor / bachelorette party, baby shower, product launch, product briefing, seminar, workshop, corporate event as well as private gathering with family and friends. This event space can accommodate up to 150 pax seated.

Location

Portico Restaurant is located at Lorong Park Lane, near to the Reservoir Park Kuching and the New IRB Building. Gravel parking is available at the frontage of the event space.
