Sanjuro Cafe and Art Space – owned by Noh is known to be the cafe-cum-art space with its quaint and rustic designs in Jalan Padungan, Kuching. The idea of the cafe was to be a place for people to hang out have drinks and food and also a place where people can showcase their art, a multicultural hang-out spot. Therefore, the upper floor of the cafe is a small stage where a live band plays every night. The name of the cafe, Sanjuro was coined after a song by an Indonesian band Sore, called Come by Sanjuro. Sanjuro Cafe and Art Space serves a wide variety of food such as, fusion food, local delights and also staple dishes like fried rice and sushi.

Event Venue

The interior design of the cafe has a minimalistic and aesthetic vibe with their bricked white walls and wooden furniture. The pendant lights give the whole event venue a cosy and warm ambience with it’s warm lighting. Sanjuro Cafe and Art Space is the perfect place to chill and relax after a long day of work.

Events

Sanjuro Cafe and Art Space is a modern event space with indoor and outdoor seating. This event space is suitable for a birthday party, bridal shower, anniversary dinner, corporate party, seminar as well as other corporate events. It can accommodate events up to 50 pax.

Location

Sanjuro Cafe and Art Space is located at the corner lot of the row of shop lots on Jalan Pandungan. The shop beside Sanjuro Cafe and Art Space is Hock Seng Hin. Parking is available on the streets.
