It all started with a passion for delivering the freshest of seafood in Kuala Lumpur. That passion has driven Southern Rock Seafood from becoming a supplier of high quality imported seafood to opening their very own restaurant to showcase their delicious produce.

Southern Rock Seafood is a seafood haven in the heart of Bangsar. The restaurant boasts of serving the freshest oysters and seafood in Klang Valley, and rightly so as they have their very own specialist fishmonger right next door that offers an array of seafood imported from Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Event Venue

With a beautiful oceanic themed ambiance, Southern Rock Seafood draws guests into a calm and charming dining experience. The restaurant is a highly versatile event space, divided into 3 distinct spaces – the Oyster Bar Side, the Sushi Bar Side (each with a maximum capacity of 50 pax) and the Outdoor Garden (40pax seating or 80pax standing cocktail table layout).

Events

Southern Rock Seafood promises a pleasant event space for intimate birthday parties (with several dozen guests) as well as large scale events such as corporate dinners and event launches.

There is a minimum charge for booking a whole side of restaurant (50 pax)

Monday – Thursday (RM4000)
Friday – Sunday (RM6000)

Southern Rock Seafood has hosted many corporate events including the launching of Glenlivet 2015 and Cloudy Bay 2015 (because these go excellent with fresh oysters and seafood), as well as dinners for corporate giants such as Shell, Astro, Unilever and the likes.

For group dining, Southern Rock Seafood is able to adapt and customise exquisite menus for your guests comprising of canapÈs, a side of mussels, a customised main dish as well as dessert.

Location

Southern Rock Seafood is located on Jalan Kemuja, which a road parallel to Jalan Bangsar. The restaurant is only a short 5-minute walk from Bank Rakyat Bangsar LRT Station. Valet parking as well as a parking lot is available for guests who drive.
