Seven Village Noodle House, a famous Koay Teow Soup restaurant originated from Penang, started with the founder, Mr. Lim, selling Koay Teow Soup on a tricycle in 1956. Mr Lim’s dedication to his food quality gradually generated word of mouth recommendation among the locals and soon the business grew rapidly. To cater to the increasing number of customer, the business was then expanded from a tricycle into a stall, and finally into a restaurant.
