L'Appart Bangkok

Inspiration
Georges-Eugene Haussmann was commissioned to renovate Paris between 1853 and 1870. The wide avenues, parks and squares, fountains and aqueducts that Parisians see in the centre of Paris today is largely due to the result of his work. L’Appart on the 32nd Floor of the Sofitel Sukhumvit is a Haussmann inspired design that brings to Bangkok the charm of a grand Parisian apartment.
The Ambience
L’Appart features a luxurious and charming lounge, a library, a state-of-the-art open kitchen serving exquisite dishes and an outdoor terrace capturing panoramic views of Bangkok’s vibrant skyline. Every item of furnishing used in L’Appart was imported including the couches, the black and white pictures and even the stove.
Cuisine
Befitting it’s grand elegance, Sofitel brought in Chef Jeremy Tourret, who was previously at the three Michelin-star Daniel. Yes, that’s the New York restaurant of celebrity chef Daniel Boulud. L’Appart serves French cuisine influenced by Thai ingredients. Expect to find Chef Jeremy using local & seasonal items in his menus. While we would expect wine at L’Appart, it also has a full bar serving a variety of cocktails.
Events
L’Appart is only open in the evenings but it’s elegant French theme makes it a perfect event venue for corporate events (product launch, corporate dinners) or even private functions (wedding proposals or parties) that would benefit from a French flair.
