Lat Tali Lat is the an old pre-Internet, pre-music video, pre-rock & roll childhood game that children in Malaysia used to play to divide themselves into teams. It’s a game not often played or a phrase not often heard now. The owners of Lat Tali Lat Cafe (young though they may be) decided to revive this bit of nostalgia of those good simple times by naming their cafe after it. And the name seems to fit the space too. It’s a cozy, charming & somewhat kooky cafe, absolutely befitting the name. The food that they serve which is a mix of Western and Asian blends the old and new together in a refreshing way. Try their butter milk udon with curry leaves and chili padi and you will understand what we mean. Please note that Lat Tali Lat Cafe serves pork, so it’s a non-halal cafe.

Event Space

Lat Tali Lat Cafe has a colourful cafe event space. Toys, interesting art, and colourful fruity cushions adorn the space making this a very cheerful event space. While the space is not big, it makes up by being comfortable and like the owners say, a home away from home.

Events

Lat Tali Lat Cafe is suitable for birthday parties, baby showers, and full moon parties. With road level access, it is a suitable event space, if your event has elderly folks as well. The event space here can accommodate up to 40 pax comfortably, though we have been told that they have pushed it up to 50 before.

Location

Lat Tali Lat Cafe is located in where else but Damansara Kim. It is easily accessible via the LDP or the Sprint Damansara link if you are coming from KL or via the NKVE. Parking is available on the streets and is usually quite easy to find on weekday evenings. However, if there is are events being held at the nearby Chinese restaurants, then you might have a bit of trouble finding a parking space.
