Eat at 18 is a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves comfort as well as simple delicious food using only fresh ingredients. Their menu ranges from a hearty breakfast meal to desserts and freshly baked oven goods like breads and cookies. You would not want to miss out on their healthy brunch meals such as their French toast and home muesli. The house speciality includes their hot chocolate served with chocolate truffles. Eat at 18 serves desserts that are well balanced, bursting with flavour but not overpowering with sugary sweetness. Not only that, they also make fresh juice drinks with exotic flavours such as dragon fruit, star fruit and durian too when it is in season.

Nestled around the hustle and bustle of Jonker Street, Eat at 18 is a quiet space which gives off a very calm artisanal cafe vibe. There is a beautiful courtyard filled by natural sunlight in between two air-conditioned spaces in the cafe where the lovely scents of freshly baked bread and orange peels greets you for the first time. The wooden furniture and the walls of solid brick brings a more archaic and warm feel to the place. Eat at 18 has a smart modern decor which makes it more inviting for guests. Apart from dining settings, there is a beautiful boutique hotel on the first floor above this cafe.

Eat at 18 Melaka caters for every occasion be it gatherings like birthday parties or even a quiet meal for 2. They take reservations but they also do welcome walk in guests. Reservations are advised to be made prior to the date of the booking to ensure a smooth event flow. It can accommodate up to 40 to 45 pax.

Location

Eat at 18 Melaka is parked nearby a very busy street called Jonker Street. It occupies the ground floor of an intermediate 2-story shop lot. Keep an eye out for this cafe as it is tucked in the middle of two other shop lots. You would not want to miss out on this hidden gem cafe!
