The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu is a cosy cafe outside of the Kota Kinabalu town centre in the quiet suburb of Taman Soon Kiong. The cafe is owned by Frankie Interior Design which gives this cosy cafe a fun twist! All the furniture and even some of the decorations at the cafe are for sale! The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu doubles up as a laid-back showroom for Frankie Interior Design which makes it a great place to relax and soak in some design inspirations. Though the menu at The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu is relatively simple, it still has a great selection of drinks (specially curated hand drip coffee or Nutella affogato anyone?) as well as brunch dishes at affordable prices.

The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu is a vibrant event space with punches of bright colours and an eclectic choice of mix-and-match furniture that works well with the cafe’s fun vibe. Choose to sit in a plush armchair, high bar stool or enjoy a cool day outside at the cafe’s outdoor seating, there is sure a table to suit your mood. The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu also has lots of potted plants giving the space a cool cosy feel, making this neighbourhood cafe a great place to unwind and relax.

The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu is a casual event space that is suitable for hosting a birthday party, baby shower, bridal shower, full moon party, tea party, and family and friends gatherings. It can accommodate events up to 40 pax.

Location

The Coffee Lab Kota Kinabalu is opposite Sabah Golf and Country Club. Be sure to look out for the Frankie Interior Design sign as the cafe is just below it. Public parking is easily available on this quiet street.
