1988 Florist & Café started out as just another flower shop before it’s owner decided to spice things up by sprouting a café. Entwining the fragrant charm of fresh flowers and the allure of delicious food, this site of novel matrimony serves fresh, healthy and tasty vegetarian food. Customers who enjoy vegetarian food have been captivated by their basic yet appetising food which is not artificially flavoured. In their menu, you can find dishes such as Lei Cha, Petai Fried Rice, Oat Noodle, Oat Tau Foo and many others. Their homemade buns such as the Orange Pumpkin Bun and Blue flower bun also com recommended. And who could forget invigorating beverages when it comes to healthy food? Here they serve Roselle Tea, Lavender Tea and others as well as specialty teas such as Bitter-gourd Tea and Bamboo Leaf Tea. The fruit juices here are made with no sugar added and minimal water during preparation to give a truly pure beverage!

Event Space

Located at a corner lot on Jalan Meriam, 1988 Florist & Café is housed in an antique building. As you walk through their door be prepared to be greeted by a lush scent only to be found at a florist’s establishment and as you venture past the first half of 1988 Florist & Café you will enter their warmly lighted dining area. The interior design is pleasant and very easy on the eye. The wooden furnishing gives a slightly country feel albeit with a modern touch.

Events

1988 Florist & Café can host private events such as birthday party, baby shower and cocktail party for up to 50 pax.
