The name is certainly quite a mouthful but in this period where names play an important role in creating a brand, Ampersand by Culinary Rebels is certainly trying to stamp their name on the food scene. Ampersand by Culinary Rebels was formerly known as Ecole P, but with theie new incarnation, the old name didn’t cut it anymore. The owners wanted to bring a rebellious attitude to the food that they like with items such as a Big Breakfast served on a banana leaf or chicken wings coated with crispy pork lard. Their food is certainly not going to be boring.

Event Space

Ampersand by Culinary Rebels doesn’t have a big space but it inherits the quirkiness that made Ecole P stand out among the scores of cafes in the Klang Valley. The event space at Ampersand by Culinary Rebels can accommodate up to 50 pax. This makes it suitable for birthday parties and meet ups for friends looking for an instagram worthy event space. Remember this is a non-halal event space.

Location

Ampersand by Culinary Rebels is located at Damansara Uptown. Getting here is easy as it is just one road away from the LDP, making it quite an ideal meeting spot for guests coming from other parts of PJ, Bandar Utama, TTDI or Kepong. Parking, however, is not as easy. While there is the underground car park, it hasn’t proven to be a popular option. The option is that you should be able to find street parking on the Jalan SS 21/35 and walk over.
