The name of Behind 50 Love Lane, was coined simple because it is located behind shoplot 50, on Love Lane! It was founded by three friends who believed in the future growth potential of this part of George Town’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the founders is a passionate photographer and wanted to create a space where people could not just take wonderful photos, but also have their work displayed. Now, Behind 50 Love Lane is a popular hangout spot for people of all ages. This quaint, antique themed cafe and restaurant serves Asian Fusion cuisine such as pastas, pizzas as well as other main courses and appetizers. The food here is all made from scratch by the in-house chef. A variety of hot and cold drinks are also available on the menu.

Event Venue

Behind 50 Love Lane has an interior design and the decoration to really take their patrons back in time! Step into a zone where it seems like the 1950s complete with vintage-style furniture to go with it. Behind 50 Love Lane is has both an air-conditioned area and an “open-air” concept area in the front with fans so customers may choose their preference. The front area is littered with vintage memorabilia from the past such as old household items, bicycles, vinyl records of popular artists, toys, books and even food items. On the walls, talent of local photographers are showcased.

Events

Behind 50 Love Lane can host private events such as birthday party, family dinner, reunion dinner and many others. Up to 100 pax can be hosted at private events held here.

Location

Behind 50 Love Lane is located beside Love Lane, at Muntri Street, Penang. Street parking is available just a few minutes’ walk from the cafe.
