Cafe de Maple in Butterworth is run by the same owners as the Maple Leaf Bakery, known for their home-baked cakes and pastries. Located on the second floor of the same building, the in-house cafe event space adds to the delicacies provided by the bakery with its home-style food such as pasta, toasts and desserts. Items on the menu include an assortment of sweet and savoury delights such as the Pumpkin Pasta and Caramel Banana Nutella Toast. For desserts there is Chicken Ham & Cheese Waffle and the Nutty Raspberry Cheese which comes in 4 different layers. The event space also has healthy home-made milk kefir drinks which are very high in probiotics.

Event Space

The most eye-catching feature of Cafe de Maple is the huge mural of famous Japanese anime character, Totoro gracing one of the walls and its overall maple leaf wall paper decor. The air-conditioned event space comes with modern light fixtures, wooden partitions, tables and chairs, comfortable arm chairs and a low sofa seating area which adds to the cosy and homely ambiance. The menu is on the blackboard behind the cashier and cake display chiller.

Events

Cafe de Maple is a good event space to hold a birthday party, anniversary, baby shower, group gathering, tea reception with family and friends or any other private function. The event space which can hold up to 40 pax also has cooking demonstrations and classes.
