Established in December 2015, Cafe Lagenda is well-known especially for their Malay-Indonesian food as the event space serves authentic traditional Malay delicacies. Owner, Shad Kamarulzaman, explained how the cafe has an interesting menu that features traditional Malay-eats or Western-Fusion dishes with a powerful punch of herbs and spices. One of their house specialties is Gado-Gado where it shows a simple yet sophisticated family platter outlook for guests. Cafe Lagenda focuses on serving high quality coffee, which are imported from many regions around the world. Having both, together creates an out of this world experience.

Event Space

Cafe Lagenda is a humble but cosily decorated event space and it has a modern rustic feeling with a white wall and wooden floor. They only have indoor seating, air-conditioned and the atmosphere is quite relaxed due to its large space and high ceiling. The space can fit up to 50 pax.

Events

The rugged vintage interior of Cafe Lagenda makes it an extremely exciting stop for a cup of coffee in the middle of the day and as they focus on the importance of coffee. The event space can host events like a birthday party, gathering, bridal shower, anniversary lunch or dinner, and other casual events up to 50 pax.

Location

Cafe Lagenda is located along Lebuh Campbell, and it is a 15-minutes’ walk from Masjid Kapitan Keling. The cafe is easily spotted as they have a hipster theme signboard to capture attention! Guests also can assure to find street parking but be sure to be early as it can be crowded especially on weekends.
