Deck at The Row KL had a new lease of life with a RM70 million redevelopment of this heritage area, with it’s re-opening in March 2015. While The Slate and the restaurants on the ground floor have been getting a lot of rave reviews, there’s a hidden gem right on top of Timbre KL, The Row KL Deck is a rooftop venue, that’s wonderfully suited for outdoor events.

Rooftop Venue

The architecture of Deck at The Row KL reflects a modern creative adaptation of existing buildings, with an emphasis on greenery and natural lighting. With a rooftop venue, natural lighting is certainly going to be at a maximum, so it would probably be too hot to do any event here in the day time, unless you invest in tents. But come sun down, this rooftop venue becomes a perfect event space to throw an outdoor party. Deck at The Row KL has a a bar counter top and a BBQ pit that is suitable for hosting a barbecue party. You can either bring in your own food, or get Timbre KL to help with the food.

Events

Deck at The Row KL is suitable to host an outdoor cocktail party, corporate party, a beer party, or a BBQ party. The rooftop venue here can accommodate 30 to 50 pax seated or 50 to 80 pax standing.

Location

Deck at The Row KL is located at Jalan Doraisamy, right beside the Sheraton Imperial. It is easily accessed via Jalan Sultan Ismail or you could get there via the monorail, which stops just a few hundred metres away. Parking is available at the open air car parks along the road, or at the multi storey car park at The Heritage building directly opposite this rooftop venue.
