Opened in 2016 by football enthusiasts, DJR Cafe gets its cafe name from a local football team that represents the city of Ipoh. DJR Cafe is popular with sports fan in particular Arsenal Football Club supporters as well as non-sporty customers. DJR Cafe offers a wide range of tasty menu items ranging from DJR Fried Rice, Football Madness (Meatballs), Fish and Chips to Cajun Seafood Rice. Meals are reasonably priced and food portions do justice to hungry game watching football fans. There is something here to please anyone’s palate!

Event Space

Red and white are the predominant colours that make up both floors of DJR cafe. The event space is surrounded by red coloured walls, white washed tables and chairs and a large counter bearing white DJR Cafe letterings. A large Arsenal badge holds centre stage on one of the main walls while the other side is taken up by a wide LED television that broadcast live matches to an avid crowd. There are also comfortable sofas with red and black cushions for sports fan to wind down and take in a match. Famous Arsenal legends and player jerseys, related football merchandise and decor items contribute to the casual and sporty ambiance of the event space.

Events

Besides being the event space to take in the latest football matches, DJR Cafe is also a suitable place to hold a birthday party, themed party, a meeting, small gathering or other private functions as it can hold a total of 70 pax in its double storey event space.

Location

DJR Cafe located at Jalan Raja Ekram in the centre of the city of Ipoh. The event space is a 2 minute drive from the Tower Regency Hotel and Apartments. Street and parking lots are available around the event space.
