Foodlab Ipoh is founded by Saidatul Emma- a journalist, a make-up artist and a photographer. Having started small alongside a salon, Foodlab Ipoh has now expanded to a well established cafe that is located at Taman Cempaka. Their dishes are quirkily named and beautifully presented at a reasonable price. Besides their fusion menu, they also serve a variety of one-of-a-kind milkshakes that are not only delicious but artistically presented. Among the crowd favourites are Willy Wonka Choc milkshake and ‘Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs’ dish served with juicy meatballs and fries.

Event Space

Due to the massive support, Foodlab Ipoh has now upgraded to a cafe of their own. The interior is is modern and chic with black block-like chairs that are covered with stripes, paired with wooden square tables. One side of the wall is filled with waves wall art while the remaining walls are painted black. Their floor and ceiling are also coated black. However, fret not as despite the dark coloured interior, the cafe is well lit.

Events

Due to its casual setting, events such as a birthday party, a product launch, a casual meeting, and a baby shower are suitable to be hosted here. Foodlab Ipoh can accommodate up to 50 pax maximum.

Location

Foodlab Ipoh is a 2min (650m) drive away from Dewan Komuniti 1Malaysia Taman Cempaka via Jalan Sri Cempaka. Besides that, Muzium Geologi is only a 4min (2.3km) drive away via Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah/Route1. Roadside parkings are available.
