In May 2016, with the renovation of the 1st floor heritage house, brings to live Forbidden City KL, a space equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from top-notch sound system to ambiance effect lighting, offering convenience and diversity to suit all styles of events and functions. Providing the perfect setting for corporate meetings, training, product launches, conferences, celebrations, receptions, social events and weddings for up to 150 persons, the place sets the tone with an alluring, exclusive ambiance to make guests feel comfortable. Fusing the warmth of timber and Asian-inspired interior, this unashamedly upmarket venue creates a sense of seductive opulence. Forbidden City is ideally located within Kuala Lumpur central business district, which makes it an “easy to reach” location, wherever your guests are travelling from.

Forbidden City KL is an exclusive event space located in adjacent to Dining in the Dark KL. Only indoor area. It is an event space with all the PA systems, projectors, and other equipements for functions provided.

Forbidden City KL is suitable for hosting baby shower, birthday, bridal shower, corporate function, engagement, family function, marketing event, press conference, private party, product launch, ROM, social gathering, wedding. It can accommodate up to about 100 pax.

Location

Forbidden City KL is strategically located at the heart of Changkat Bukit Bintang. From KL Tower, it is about 7 minutes away. From the PETRONAS Twin Towers, it is about 9 minutes away. Nearest public transport would be monorail or MRT Bukit Bintang, and it is 7 minutes walking distance. 3 parking spaces available, which are the valet service in front of El Cerdo, open carpark next to Zion Club or indoor carpark in Vida Bukit Ceylon.
