Grey Sky Morning gets its unique three word combined event space name in reference to the type of skies found every morning at its location in Subang Jaya. Locally owned, the inspiration of the event space came about from the owner’s travels and desire to create a ‘Zen’ environment away from the realities of busy city life; with the added pleasure of tasty food and a good cup of coffee. Grey Sky Morning is a tranquil event space and a refreshing change from the typical dimly lit, small cafes found about town. The event space serves a Colombian-Sumatran blend of coffee, smoothies and cakes. Sandwiches are prepared twice a week. The event space signature cakes include Salted Caramel, Chocolate Nutella and Mint Choc Chip while their red combo of apple & dragon fruit make a delicious smoothie.

Event Space

Grey Sky Morning is a two-level event space designed to allow plenty of natural sunlight from its glass panels. Step into the event space and fall in love with its minimalistic semi-industrial concept of grey and black paint, rich wooden furniture, high ceiling and its impressive chandelier. Place your order on the ground floor counter before exploring the event space for a seat to enjoy the peace and quiet. Decorations are beautifully simple with each table having a tiny bottle of flowers. Staff are friendly and easy going.

Events

The tranquillity of the Grey Sky Morning makes it an ideal place to have friendly catch-ups with friends, tea party, birthday celebration, coffee session or even a business meeting as the event space can hold events for up to 60 pax.

Location

Grey Sky Morning is not easily located as it is housed within EX8 building, a moderate industrial estate together with the famous City Harvest Church and Food Industrie in Subang Jaya. Parking is freely available at the event space or in the surrounding area.
