Kampai Japanese Restaurant was among the first few restaurants to serve authentic Japanese cuisine in Ipoh. It opened its doors in September 1995 and over the past 12 years, it has garnered a solid reputation amongst the local population as the “go-to” place for healthy, quality Japanese cuisine made only with the freshest ingredients. Kampai Japanese Restaurant has managed to withstood the test of time and the changes that come with it by remaining loyal to several attributes; great value for money, consistent quality food and ingredients as well as wonderful customer service. On the menu, awide range of flavorful handmade sushi, maki, don, bento, udon and many others can be found alongside alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Kampai Japanese Restaurant does not serve pork and vegetarian dishes are available.

Event Venue

The interior design of Kampai Japanese Restaurant is pleasant and carries a 90s feel to it. the ambiance is casual and relaxed with bright lighting from LED lights overhead. The walls are adorned with wallpaper with sakura flowers on them. Japanese-style furniture as well as many other ornaments decorates the dining area. The venue has two sections; one with a typical restaurant layout, with normal tables and chairs, and another designed in a traditional Japanese fashion, where customers are seated on the floor. Kampai Japanese Restaurant is fully air-conditioned but also has oscillating fans.

Events

Kampai Japanese Restaurant is a great venue for private events for up to 100 pax. Private events suitable to be held here are such as family dinner, birthday party, corporate dinner, cocktail party and many others.
