Oriental Heritage Homestay
The owner of Oriental Heritage Homestay, CT Lim, wanted to give guests a feel of the place that he grew up in and share the good memories he had growing up in Kuala Lumpur. The easy thing would have been for him to sell the bungalow that is Oriental Heritage Homestay, but he’s decided to keep it and turned it into a homestay and an event space. And party planners in KL are all the more fortunate for it.
Event Space
Oriental Heritage Homestay is a bungalow that was built in the 1970s and the architecture is reflective of that era. It is rare to find a bungalow event space in Kuala Lumpur with 800 square metres (8,000 square feet) of space making this a perfect venue for events. The owner has put together a nice collection of old furniture to complement the look and feel of the bungalow (instagram moments maybe?). Oriental Heritage Homestay has a large living room which is perfect for gatherings and a kitchen which you can use to prepare your food items. It also has a huge private garden that comes with a BBQ pit making it a great place for a BBQ party. Oriental Heritage Homestay is suitable for birthday parties, meet ups, gatherings, weeding venue, training sessions, and even casual corporate parties in Kuala Lumpur for up to 100 pax.
Location
Oriental Heritage Homestay is located at Jalan Kasipillay, which is just off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. In fact, it’s also just off Jalan Kuching. So getting here is not too hard at all. There’s ample parking on the street, and it’s free! There’s even enough space to park a bus outside the house, as you can see the picture above.
