Opened in 2016, Pause Cafe Sibu is a local family run event space that believes life should be enjoyed and invites all its customers to drop by their event space and take a ‘pause’ or break from the hustle and bustle of life. The event space which is run by a bunch of cousins serves affordable Western and Asian meals including home-made Three Layer Pork, Soft Shell Crab Burger and Salted Egg Chicken Chop.

Pause Cafe Sibu is a spacious, air-conditioned event space that showcases the owner’s ingenuity through its creative yet purposeful choice of event space decorations, with a preference of using refurbished crate woodwork as shelves and corner wall decor. Customers can choose to sit at intimate tables or along the long sofa that is littered with various cushions indoors or at selected seating outdoors. A casual, laid back dining environment with 80s music or the latest hits playing in the background. As the event space name suggests, the owners encourage conversation and interpersonal interactions and does not WIFI at its premise.

Events

Pause Cafe Sibu is a suitable event space to hold a birthday party, anniversary, proposal, baby shower, luncheon, club gathering or other special occasions as the event space accommodates up to 30 pax indoors and 20 pax outdoors.

Location

Pause Cafe Sibu is located at the Ulu Sungai Merah business district in Sibu. It is only 2 minutes’ drive from the Ulu Sungai Merah secondary school and 3 minutes’ walk from the Wonderful Supermarket. Street parking are available at the shop-lot event space.
