Scalini, Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok

Location

Hilton has a new property in Bangkok and it is located on Sukhumvit Soi 24, just a short walk away from the Phrom Pong BTS station and the venerable Emporium Shopping Complex called the Hilton Sukhumvit. The decor of the hotel is a homage to The Great Gatsby so fans of the F. Scott Fitgerald classic will want to make a beeline to either visit or even stay here. Within the hotel, lies the Scalini restaurant on Level 2.

Prohibition Theme

In keeping with the 1920s theme of the Hilton Sukhumvit, the Scalini restaurant is designed to transport you and your guests back in time to prohibition era USA. While it was a violent time, many often look back at that era with romance and nostalgia. However, Scalini chose that theme to bring our thoughts to the Italian immigrants who braved the rough seas of the Atlantic to make their way to the brave new world that was America. These immigrants brought over recipes from the old world and re-invented them with American ingredients and flavours creating a new type of Italian American cuisine. And these are the dishes that Scalini serves along with their freshly made pasta.

Theme Party

The dark woods that adorn Scalini, its dim lights and a relatively cosy event venue size make Scalini a fine setting for perhaps a corporate event like a dinner, a private birthday party. And if you want to see how your food is prepared, you can view the preparation through the interactive open kitchen.

For smaller parties, Scalini has a private area that is located behind a dividing wall with a view of the yard that is shared between the Hilton and the Double Tree.
