The Alley Penang is a unique coffee cafe situated in the heart of Georgetownís UNESCO Heritage Site. This event space is popular for their fresh coffee as well as their famous selection of churros, cronuts and cheesecakes. Operating in a heritage shop lot beside the Goddess of Mercy Temple, The Alley Penang may be hard to spot but it is a well-known place amongst locals for their consistent service quality and their speciality menu that serves some of the best churros, cronuts and coffee in Penang.

Event Space

The Alley Penang is a unique event space in that it is housed in a heritage shop-lot that was previously a Chinese incense shop that sells various Chinese paraphernalia. The event space is decorated in a minimalistic, urban style with various local modern art around the shop. The Aleey Penang has a small outdoor seating area and a standard indoor seating area with wooden tables and chairs with a cushioned seating area at the back.

Events

The Alley Penang is a suitable event space for small-scale events like a birthday party, an office meeting, a lunch party, a dinner party, hi-tea party, a bridal shower, a casual party and any other small-scale events hosting up to 40pax.

Location

The Alley Penang may be a little hard to find being that it is situated in a heritage shop-lot called ìKedai Gaharu Keat Seangî. It is located next to the Goddess of Mercy Temple or also known as Guan Yin Teng amongst locals. Parking spots are hard to come by and patrons are advised to park at Jalan Kapitan Keling or Chulia Lane and walk over to the cafe.
