The Sticky Wicket is Malaysia’s first dedicated cricket bar, a watering hole for all fans of gin and enthusiasts of the sport. It is based upon a typical British pub and serves authentic British pub grub as well as special cocktails with an emphasis on Gin. The name Sticky Wicket is derived from a metaphor used to describe difficult circumstances in the sport of cricket, caused by a damp and soft pitch.

Event Space

True to the British pub tradition, The Sticky Wicket has wood-paneled ceiling, exposed red brick walls, warm lighting and dark wood furniture that made up its bar counter, tables and chairs. Instantly recognizable red British public telephone booth doors further cement its British identity. The walls are decorated with various cricket memorabilia including bats and cricket team shirts, as well as flat panel television screens for broadcasting games. The bar is located on the ground floor along with counter seating, high tables and chairs; while the upper floor is carpeted with more space for tables and chairs seating.

Events

The Sticky Wicket is a cricket-themed traditional pub event space with 2 floors. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. This unique event space is suitable for hosting a birthday party, bridal shower, anniversary, proposal, engagement party, reunion, farewell party, corporate gathering as well as get-together with family & friends. It can accommodate events of up to 87 pax, with around 16 pax outdoors.

Location

The Sticky Wicket is located on the ground and first floors of a multi-storey shop lot in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur; next to Public Bank. Street parking is available in front of the shop lots.
