Founded in November 2003, Tropical Spice Garden Penang used to be a deserted rubber plantation in the northern shores. Now an award-winning eco-tourism destination which is also known as the hidden Eden of South East Asia, Tropical Spice Garden Penang has over 500 varieties of exotic flora and fauna displayed over the 8 acres of the secondary jungle. Besides offering an unforgettable garden experience, Tropical Spice Garden Penang hopes to implant the awareness of the importance of the natural and luscious flora and fauna of Malaysia.

Located in Teluk Bahang, Tropical Spice Garden Penang can be easily spotted via Tree Monkey, a Thai Restaurant, as its landmark just before the main entrance. For those who are arriving at Tropical Spice Garden Penang by personal transportation, multiple street parking spots are made available. On the other hand, as for those who prefer to take public transportation, both Rapid Penang 101 and 102 includes Teluk Bahang in the scheduled routes. They also make a stop at the entrance of Tropical Spice Garden Penang.
