Bentarakata is a neighbourhood event space at Gaya Street, Kota Kinabalu that holds intimate exhibitions and performances. Bentarakata organises art and literature events as well as performances every other night of the week. The team at Bentarakata strives to ensure the comfort of their guests. They also provide some food and snacks if you ever get hungry during the performances. The house speciality here is their dark chocolate vegan and palm-oil free muffin which is a very healthy option for those health freaks out there. They also do provide food like chicken rice. Bentarakata is definitely a cosy event space for you to hold any sort of event.

Event Space

If you are into the 90s, then Bentarakata is definitely the place for you! The interior design of Bentarakata has a very nostalgic vibe to it. They have various seating styles here including wooden benches and sofas. The wooden chairs definitely makes the place look very classic. Bentarakata brings you warmth and maximum relaxation with their dim orange lights which lights up the centre stage. There are also books available for you to read while you are there! Besides that, this place is definitely worthy of an Instagram shot!

Events

Bentarakata is a great studio for guests who would like to organise anything from poetry to an acoustic performance, a book reading, a birthday party or even meetings. Since they have a mini stage and great lighting, the events you could possibly host here are endless! Bentarakata event space is able to cater for up to 30 pax.

Location

Bentarakata event space is located inside on the third floor at Gaya Street. Parking lots are easy to find as there would be ample of street parking on any day of the week.
