China House Penang

China House Penang is a labyrinth of wonders that is made up of three adjoining buildings connected by a shared courtyard. China House Penang boasts three restaurants, a bakery, a bar, a courtyard with a pool, a library, a meeting room, an art gallery and shops selling art pieces and trinkets. Though China House Penang initially gained popularity due to its amazing spread of 30 different cakes and desserts displayed magnificently in glass cloches on a grand wooden table, the other eateries have also come into their own, serving different cuisines with one of them having live music performances every evening.

Event Space

China House Penang is definitely not your average event space, hence consideration and careful planning must be made. China House Penang has Beach Street Bakery, which has narrow seating, the cafe Kopi C and the fine dining restaurant BTB have their own separate eating areas with the latter having a bigger seating space. The Canteen is the biggest eatery that houses the live performances, and above The Canteen is a spacious room that can host 40 people. There is another private room called 14 Chairs a more intimate area that seats 14 pax. Though The Courtyard and The Library are not cafes but they have comfortable seats and tables where you can enjoy your meal from any of the restaurants. In fact, you may order your food from the various menus without ever leaving your table.

Events

China House Penang is great for a birthday party, full moon party, baby shower, bridal shower, hen’s night, bachelor’s party, engagement party, art exhibit, meeting, casual business talk, art workshop, entertainment gig, and live shows. It can host up to 200 pax.

Location

China House Penang is a located between Lebuh Pantai and Lebuh Victoria with entries on both sides. Parking can be busy in the evenings.
