The Coffee Factory in Kuching is a popular joint for coffee-lovers as the event space serves a good fusion dishes for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner, desserts and coffee. Opened in 2014, the stand-alone event space is known for its Affogoto, Green Tea Latte and Peach Smoothie. Dishes to try include Smokey BBQ Chicken Burger, Salmon Fried Rice and Chicken Satay while they serve an assorted variety of crepe cakes for desserts including house special Horlick Crepe Cake and Espresso Cheesecake. It gets busy in the evenings, so reservations are recommended.

Event Space

Walk into The Coffee Factory and you will immediately be drawn to the large coffee bar island with its chalked blackboard menu hanging over. Once orders are made at the counter, choose from standard but comfortable table seating or couches downstairs or venture up a metal staircase with a rope bannister to the mezzanine and first floor for more cosy corners and private loft-like setting. Designed with the use of creative recycled wood on surfaces and walls, unique lighting designs, large windows that allow natural lighting and metal furnishings including colourful metal elephant chairs, the event space give the a chic and relaxing ambiance.

Events

The Coffee Factory is a suitable event space to have a gathering of with family and friends, host a birthday party, anniversary, class reunion, corporate event, workshop, cooking demonstration or any other private function as the event space can accommodate up to 100 pax.

Location

The Coffee Factory is located on Jalan Penrissen, next to the Zoso music store and a 6 minute drive from the Kuching Sentosa Hospital. The event space, which is also close to the airport, has its own free gated car park area.
