Had our company buka puasa dinner over the restaurant on Monday. The view from pool side is magnificent as it captured view of the city. Sadly, I didn't see any effort on maintaining the facilities of the pool side. Pool water was disgusting as its green and cloudy, chairs are dirty and dust, not to say the smoke from roasting the lamb and satay. The restaurant have a grand interior view with good lighting, decoration and nice ambient. You could definitely feel the Raya atmosphere here. At this point, our company was actually planned to have our Buka Puasa event here again next year despite that the pool side condition, but eventually we cancelled our mind on this as the food was a huge letdown. The food quality and variety were absolutely despaired! I could barely count it with my fingers; 1 chicken,1 beef, 1 lamb, 1 fish, 2 vege, 2 rices, soups, little selection of starter and dessert, rubbery roast lamb, tenpayaki station (which I couldn't find the serving staff), noodle station and last but not least the rotten satay which I wouldn't expect to found in one grand and classy restaurant like yours. Told the manager regard the satay and took him more than half an hour to react by stop serving it but did not withdraw it from our table until we asked. Assuming that your good restaurant would just allow your customer to consume rotten food?? Overall, the worst dining experience.
These guys are supremely talented. For a 3-piece band, they sound amazing, acoustic or otherwise. They do covers but are talented at writing their own songs too.
Interesting discovery thanks to the organisers of our alumni meet! Impressive stock of bottles on display, reasonable prices. That back room is excellent for a private party cosy up to 15 pax or so. The only working mike out of 4 now needs replacement too after our do.
