28 Fireplace is a cozy neighbourhood cafe reminiscent of Aussie cafe that opened in Ampang Hilir in late 2015. It is so named because of the faux fireplace that they have in the middle of the cafe and their unit number being 28, of course. 28 Fireplace serves simple comfort food like sandwiches and salads and we have noticed that they make pretty awesome looking scones too. 28 Fireplace sources their coffee beans from one of Melbourne’s best roasters, Cottle Coffee. For those who don’t take coffee, they have freshly made fruit juices too.

Event Space

28 Fireplace has two sections, an indoor area and an outdoor area. They have a minimalist design especially in their outdoor area, which is quite appealing to the eye. The indoor event space can take about 35 pax, while the outside are can take another 15 pax. While this is not a big event space, the coziness and the charm of the event space is likely to win you over. 28 Fireplace is suitable for events such as baby showers, birthday parties and gatherings among friends who want to chill and chat over coffee.

Location

28 Fireplace is located at the not so quiet row of shops at the Ampang Hilir area just off Jalan Ampang. Getting here is easy enough as it is just straight down Jalan Ampang or it can also be accessed off the Ampang MRR. Parking is available on the street.
