Babe KL would sound like the name of a blogger but it’s not. Bake KL is actually Japanese tapas restaurant which Michelin star chef, Jeff Ramsey, likes to call Japas. No stuffy fine dining here but fun dining is what’s promised. The menu reflects Chef Ramsey’s repertoire in Japanese cuisine, Spanish tapas and food science with produce that is locally grown at the in-house rooftop garden. So you won’t get fresher ingredients than that! Here’s a sampling of the menu at time of writing – Japanese Clam Chowder, Sashimi Spring Rolls, Curry Buns, “Caesar Salad” (not Scissor Salad), 1000 Year Old Cypress Smoked Yellowtail Nigiri, “Niku Jaga”, Liquid Curry Cream Croquettes, Unagi Candy Floss, Tai Chazuke,Soy and Red Wine Braised Shortribs, Samurai Sliced Manga Crab, Virtual Truffle Steak, Nitro Puff and Petits Fours. They promise that this menu will constantly evolve. Add in the view of the KL skyline from outside the city, Babe KL promises to be a place that will be a lot of fun to chill, chat and chow.

Event Space

Babe KL has a modern contemporary design and the event space here can accommodate up to 60 pax. This event space would be suitable for birthday dinners, dinner parties or an event venue for a corporate dinner for some of your best customers.

Location

Babe KL is located at the pool deck of BE Urban at the Clearwater building on Changkat Semantan (just off Jalan Semantan) in Damansara Heights. Getting here is through Jalan Semantan or Jalan Damansara. There are some road works happening now due to the construction of the MRT. There’s limited parking within the building during office hours, but it should be better during the off hours.
