Cantaloupe KL, one of KL’s best restaurants, is helmed by Chef Chris Bauer. He’s the chef who made Frangipani the talk of town in the late 90s and now he’s back at the Cantaloupe KL. Cantaloupe KL is located on the 23rd Floor of the Norman Foster designed The Troika. And if that’s not enough, the interior is designed by one of Melbourne’s leading interior designers, Hecker Guthrie. High ceilings with lots of light really make this a grand event venue.

Event Venue

Bangkok may have taken the early lead in having restaurants with high floor dining with brilliant skyline views but Cantaloupe KL scores a brilliant star point for Kuala Lumpur. This event venue not only brings you a brilliant view but also the dining designs of Chris Bauer. (Don’t worry, he’s not Jack Bauer of 24, he won’t torture you). Oyster risotto, scallop smoked eel burger, and lobster curry are some of the delights you can expect here. And if you need alcoholic supplement to your event, the Cantaloupe KL bar has an extensive range of wines and liqueurs. Cantaloupe KL can take up 80 people seated and 250 people standing for events.

Sunday Events

Cantaloupe KL is also famous for their Scrumptious Sunday Lunch which has become something of an institution among KL diners. The atmosphere on Sunday is said to be convivial, relaxed and the spread sumptuous as a Sunday lunch should be. That would give you a new option for an event on Sunday mornings.

Location

Cantaloupe KL is located in the KLCC area and easily accessible via Jalan Tun Razak. One of the things that we like about the dining establishments at The Troika is that parking is readily available at the multi-storey car park just opposite the road. It may not be cheap, given that this is the KLCC area, but there is lots of it and very few places have a car park as convenient as this.
