Merchant and Sisters KL was set up sisters Sunita & Perin to mimic a frontier land general store and the feel of their store certainly captures that. The goods that they carry goes beyond what a frontier general store would have carried. Missing would be shovels and picks to work the land. The jeans, however, are still available. 🙂 And the rest of the tools here would be the tools of looking good in a modern urban setting. Definitely a merchant store that has been updated for the current times. But apart from the retail section, Merchant and Sisters KL has a cafe that serves simple back to urban basics food like croissants, toasted sandwiches, pasta, pies, and some cakes too.

Event Space

The event space at Merchant and Sisters KL has lots of wood, an eclectic mix of furniture, and a generous amount of plants strewn throughout that comes together to give this place a very cozy and comfortable feel. You would certainly feel at ease here. There’s a barber shop opening there too, which will prove to be an interesting add on. How about this for party – a men’s grooming party?

Events

Merchant and Sisters KL is a suitable space to host an intimate birthday party, baby shower, or even a gathering of friends. The event space here can take up to 15 pax.

Location

Merchant and Sisters KL is located at the first floor of a charming 30-year-old shop lots on Jalan Batai. Getting here is easy as many of the arterial leads to Jalan Damansara. Parking is relatively easy as it’s within a shophouse area that is rather quiet in the evenings.
