Pusas The Smokehouse

Originated from the Kadazan/ Dusun language, the word Pusas means recreational drinking snacks that are usually consumed during gatherings with family and close friends (popularly known as moginum sessions locally). Pusas The Smokehouse was formerly known as The Smokin Bacon – founded in May 2015 to bring affordable, local-made pork specialties to Sabahans. Delicacies such as bacon, fresh sausages and ham that are typically only found in specialty supermarkets; are all made in-house and sold as frozen food or turned into tasty burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches that are served in the restaurant. So be warned, they are very clearly a non-halal restaurant.

Event Space

Spotting a simple interior with black and white walls, wooden flooring, cork-panelled counter and chalkboard menus on the wall, Pusas The Smokehouse is a casual event space with indoor and outdoor areas. The restaurant is furnished with black and wood-coloured tables and chairs that match its modern interior.

Events

Pusas The Smokehouse is a modern and relaxed event space with both indoor and outdoor seating. This casual event space is suitable for hosting a birthday party, baby shower, full moon party, wedding anniversary, marriage proposal, wedding engagement party, reunions, farewell party, corporate gatherings as well as get-together with family and friends. Pusas The Smokehouse can accommodate up to 50 pax, with around 42 pax indoors.

Location

Pusas The Smokehouse is located at The Peak Vista in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is on the ground floor of the two-storey shop lots. Parking is available in front of the shop lots.
