Built on the banks of the iconic Malacca River, right in the heart of Malacca’s age old city, Quayside Hotel Function Room was opened in 2013. Instead of building up from the ground, the hotel was made in what was previously a customs warehouse back in colonial times. This novel idea was an act to help preserve Malacca’s rich and unique history and culture. The hotel has 39 rooms for guests and 3 different meeting rooms with varying capacities. Adjacent to the main bulding is Halia Inc., which is a part of Quayside Hotel, serving Western cuisine, freshly brewed coffee and other delicacies.

Event Space

The interior of Quayside Hotel Function Room has a rustic and pleasant design, meant to preserve and complement the industrial past of the building. Modern amenities are readily available for guests to ensure that their stay is as comfortable as possible. Event venues available to host private events are the Pakus Gallery, the Conference Room and the Meeting Room. The Pakus Gallery has an artistic feel to the way it was designed while the other venues have a rather simple yet comfortable design. All the event venues are equipped with the latest audio visual equipment and wireless internet. Depending on the arrangement of furniture and the intended layout, the Meeting Room can accommodate up to 20 pax, the Pakus Gallery can accommodate up to 50 pax and the Conference Room can accommodate up to 80 pax. For special venue requests and needs, the management is more than happy to assist in making your event a success.

Events

Quayside Hotel Function Room is able to host private events such as birthday party, conference, seminar, workshop and many others. The private events held here can accommodate up to 80 pax.

Quayside Hotel Function Room is located in a central part of Malacca and is within walking distance to many attractions in Malacca such as The Stadthuys, Jonker Walk, the river cruise and many others. Parking lots and street parking are available for guests to use.
