Established on 16th December 2014, The Maker Cafe which is Christianity themed has made headlines in Miri quite a few times. They are passionate in sharing love, music and other stories by presenting the best coffee they have to customers. They use Toby Estate’s beans to brew their coffee, this type of coffee bean is very rare in Malaysia, and luckily this cafe still use them. Besides that, the group of men and women who create this cafe also sell one of a kind notebooks which could customise by customers.

Event Space

As a Christianity themed event space, The Maker Cafe used many woods in term of interior design. The interior has a neat, cosy and clean feeling. The ambience which came out from the natural solid wood table and others furniture empowers patrons to have a nice breakfast or a wonderful tea break inside this nicely decorated cafe.

Events

The Maker Cafe has a quiet atmosphere which will attracts customers to read, study and have a light talk with friends. For those who love book reading, the bookshelf in this cafe have over 600 books for you to read. This small-scale but spacious event space can accommodate events up to 40 pax; such as a birthday celebration, gathering, meet-up, old friends’ reunion and other events.

Location

The Maker Cafe is located at Boulevard Commercial Centre in east-central Miri, Sarawak. It is beside Boulevard Shopping Complex. Then, street parking lots are limited, so food lovers and coffee lovers are recommended to come here early to avoid frustrating yourself on searching parking spaces around the event space.
