El Negra Ipoh may not have the shabby run down and weather worn look of the cafes around the Ipoh Old Town area but that’s not to say it doesn’t capture the heritage of the building it occupies. El Negra Ipoh makes clever use of industrial wooden pallets and some retro looking furniture to give this event space a hipster look. The simplistic layout of the El Negra Ipoh means this space can be versatile and be arranged to suit birthday parties or other small events.

Location

El Negra Ipoh is located on Jalan Dato Onn Jaafar which is just a few streets from Jalan Lau Ek Ching, the home of many of Ipoh’s trendiest pubs and gastrobars. There is plenty of parking on the street and also on the neighbouring streets making it an ideal event space for functions like parties, product talks or workshops.
